Big Lottery Fund The Big Lottery Fund brings together the work of two National Lottery distributors: the Community Fund, which provides funding for charities and the voluntary and community sectors, and the New Opportunities Fund, which provides funding for health, education and environment projects. Learning Matters Learning Matters (formerly TAP - Training Access Points) offers a range of different services - all of which are free of charge to both individuals and businesses, and also to training providers, whose work is promoted via the Learning Matters website. The Learning Matters website and associated services are funded by the North Yorkshire Learning and Skills Council, and are delivered by VT Careers Management Ltd.
National Council For Voluntary Organisations

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is the umbrella body for the voluntary sector in England and represents the views of the voluntary sector to policy makers and government. Services offered by NCVO include a freephone HelpDesk, policy briefings, information networks, events and a wide range of publications, including good practice information on everything from trusteeship to employment law, and their own magazine, Voluntary Sector.

South Craven Community Action South Craven Community Action exists to support, develop, represent the local voluntary and community sector and establish new initiatives. The Forum is an advocate and lobbyist for the voluntary and community sector with key regional agencies and it ensures that its membership is properly represented, when important decisions about regional planning and development are being taken.
